The Solinst 860 disposable filter lets you work efficiently in almost any environment. The unit offers rapid sample filtration and requires no time to change filters. Connecting with other equipment is easy — a 1/4" NPT inlet connector fits all standard 3/8" by 1/4" or 5/8" by 1/2" tubing. The outlet connector attaches to a 1/2" straight tube. With its durable polypropylene housing, the Solinst 860 Disposable In-Line Filter can be used in temperatures up to 49˚C and pressures up to 50 psi (3.4 bar).
Solinst disposable filters provide an effective filtration area more than five times the size of those obtained with 142 mm disc filters. At the heart of the 860 is a polyether sulphone filter element with a 0.45 µm pore size. In independent laboratory testing, the Solinst in-line filter effectively removed 31 chemical elements — including arsenic, potassium, sodium, phosphorus, lead and more — to non-detectable levels.
