Since 1997, Well-Vu has been manufacturing complete solutions for downhole viewing. Environmental Equipment & Supply is proud to be a partner to this well-regarded company, which is why we offer one of its most versatile and popular models.

Our Well-Vu Borehole Camera system consists of three separate components:

  • Camera — The company's new fisheye camera features a 180º view that shows twice as much detail as the standard Well-Vu lens.
  • Cable system — A manually operated cable crank allows for camera deployment at depths up to 500 feet.
  • Command console —The Borehole Camera system is completed with a 15" digital video command console for monitoring activity remotely.

Together, these components comprise a complete turnkey solution for monitoring and recording the contents of a borehole or well as small as 1½ ID. For projects requiring monitoring of narrower or deeper boreholes, contact our office directly for assistance. Environmental Equipment & Supply is an authorized Well-Vu Systems dealer providing sales, service & rentals. We can match you with the right product for your specific needs.

Features and Benefits

Well-Vu products have been designed to serve operators in a wide range of underwater monitoring applications. The company's products are rugged and easy-to-use. They can also accurately capture the inside of a borehole using sophisticated lighting and imaging technology. Read on to learn more about the key features of each system component.

Fisheye Camera

At the heart of the system is a powerful fisheye camera that's been newly developed for improved performance in boreholes and other tight spaces. The camera features a 180° lens which shows twice as much detail as a standard lens, capturing high quality images in vivid color. The fisheye configuration allows for viewing the sidewalls as well as down the well all at the same time. If you have used Well-Vu products in the past, you'll be happy to know that the camera can be attached to almost all previous models, and operates in a similar way. As a result, it's easy to get your team up and running quickly.

Specific features of the Well-Vu video system's camera include:

  • Sharp resolution at 550 lines of resolution
  • Shock resistant camera housing
  • Sealed for submergence to 500 feet
  • 180° Camera angle to view sides and down all at once
