In-Situ Cables
Built for endurance, In-Situ offers a variety of cables and suspension wires to suit your instrument and application requirements. If you are using the Level TROLL® 700, 500, 300, Aqua TROLL® 200, or TROLL 9500®, then choose the RuggedCable® systems. When using BaraTROLL® instruments, choose the Rugged TROLL® 200 cable.
RuggedCable® Systems
Built to endure the harshest environments, RuggedCable® systems will last for many years. Every system includes Titanium twist-lock connectors that come with 2-year warranties, as well as Kellems® grip. RuggedCable® systems are offered as vented (gauged) or non-vented (absolute) cables. Connectors can be titanium twist-lock connectors or stripped and tinned cables.
Ordering options include:
- Vented or non-vented cable
- Polyurethane or Tefzel® cable
- Customized length up to 1219 m (4000 ft)
- Twist-lock termination on one or both cable ends
- Optional plastic or steel reel
Rugged TROLL® 200 Cable
The Rugged TROLL® 200 cable is a non-vented, direct-read cable that connects BaroTROLL® instruments directly to a controller or logger for communication via:
- Top-of-well cable connector and RS485
- Modbus/RS485 wiring
- SDI-12 wiring
The durable connector mates with the probe body. The top-of-well connector mates with a Rugged TROLL® Com for connection to a computer. Stripped and tinned versions connect to a telemetry system, PLC, or logger.
Suspension Cable
When you do not need to communicate to your device regularly, choose a suspension cable. This type of cable can only be used with absolute (non-vented) Level Troll® instruments. Suspension cables are 1/16" stainless, polyurethane coated wire rope, which include four clamps and instructions. Available in 50, 150 and 300 feet lengths.
