The AGI SuperSting RB8 IP is a state-of-the-art multi-channel portable earth resistivity meter with memory. The SuperSting is rented for profiling or soundings through Earth resistivity surveys. The surveys are used to map changes below the ground's surface. The spacing of the elctrodes varies on penetration depths. Closely spaced electrodes limit depths to ten feet while electrodes spaced five meters can reach depths of hundreds of feet.
The instrument revolutionizes the field of resistivity imaging surveys by its capability to simultaneously measure up to 8 channels using a high power transmitter so that the field data production can reach previously unheard of speeds.
With the high power transmitter, good data can be recorded in difficult locations where time-consuming stacking was the only alternative before.
Our Super Sting may be rented with passive electrode cables. Use the interconnective cable to combine the two systems.
