Solinst 122 Interface Probe

The Solinst 122 interface probe is one of our best selling oil/water interface meters. Use it in storage tanks and groundwater wells, or in explosive environments with the included grounding strip. Solinst interface probes are certified intrinsically safe and approved for use in Class I, Groups C and D hazardous locations as set out by the Canadian Standards Association. Key features of the Solinst interface probe include:

• Accuracy to 1 mm or 1/200th of a foot.
• Narrow diameter probe can be deployed in boreholes as small as 1’ ID.
• Optical and electronic sensors are precisely aligned to the same zero point, offering reliably accurate detection of LNAPL and DNAPL thickness.
• Easy-to-read tape is permanently stamped with metric or imperial markings.
• Powered by a pair of 9V batteries that are easily field replaceable.

Heron H.OIL

The Heron H.OIL is an excellent tool for measuring light and dense non-aqueous phase liquids (LNAPL and DNAPL). Like the Solinst interface probe, it is certified intrinsically safe and can be deployed in hazardous locations. Use the H.OIL in wells, boreholes and storage tanks. The H.OIL is available in lengths from 50 to 1000 feet and is capable of detecting hydrocarbon layers as thin as 1 mm. Other important features of the H.OIL include:

• High-tensile steel tape jacketed in durable, clear Kynar. The tape is designed to prevent corrosion from solvents and other contaminants, and to resist sticking to well walls and other wet surfaces.
• Tape markings are easy to read, marked in imperial or metric measurements to the mm or 1/100th of a foot and accurate to ASME standards.
• 7” by 5/8” probe is full submersible and attached to the tape with a flexible linking device for long term protection.
• The H.OIL’s interface probe and electronic control module are both field-replaceable.
• The unit is powered by a single 9V battery.
• The H.OIL is supported by a sturdy, balanced reel that is ergonomically designed to unfurl smoothly.
• A tape guide, third-hand well casing hanger and padded carrying case are all included at no extra charge.
• The H.OIL features a five year manufacturer’s warranty.
