The Solinst 101 water level meters, widely regarded as the industry standard for measuring the depth of wells, boreholes, tanks and standpipes. Available in metric and imperial graduations and accurate up to 1 mm or 1/100 of a foot, the Solinst 101 P7 consists of a smooth-running reel, laser-marked PVDF flat tape and a stainless steel probe. The Solinst 101 P2 with embossed tape has long been the standard in water level meters and is trusted by field technicians worldwide. Both meters come in lengths from 100 feet to 2000 feet long.

Features and Technical Specifications
The P7 stainless steel probe - MOST POPULAR:

How It Works
When the Solinst 101's probe comes in contact with water, it completes an electrical circuit, triggering a buzz that alerts the operator. The water level can then be measured by reading the tape directly. The unit's stainless steel probe is designed to avoid false readings, even in cascading water conditions.
The P2 Probe
The Solinst model P2 probe has a shielded design that reduces the risk of false readings from cascading water in wells and boreholes. The model 101 Water Level Meter with the P2 probe comes with a heat embossed polyethylene tape that reels smoothly and remains flexible. The tapes are available in both feet and tenths or meters and centimeters.
