407 Integra Bladder Pump Brochure

Use the Solinst 407 Integra Bladder Pump to obtain quality samples with excellent VOC integrity. Designed to meet the rigorous standards of US EPA volatile organic compound (VOC) groundwater monitoring, the 407 is equipped with a bladder ensuring the sample is not degassed or otherwise compromised through contact with air. Both Teflon® and polyethylene bladders are available for use with the unit, the latter of which is economically priced to be disposed of after a single deployment. The Teflon® bladder, while more expensive, is rugged enough for dedicated use.

The pump itself is available in 316 stainless steel or PVC. Stainless steel pumps provide accurate sample collection at depths up to 500 feet below grade, whereas PVC, the more cost-effective option, is suitable for use up to 100 feet. Because of the number of different options available, Solinst Bladder Pumps are suitable for deployment in a wide range of applications.

    For Regular- or Low-Flow Sampling

The Solinst Bladder Pump can be configured for use in both regular- and low-flow applications. Low-flow sampling reduces both turbulence and purge volumes, keeping your disposal costs low and improving sample quality.

For applications requiring larger purge volumes, Solinst Bladder Pumps can produce flow rates up to 2 liters/minute. Environmental Equipment & Supply also has kits available for converting the 407 into a double valve pump capable of producing higher flow rates and sampling from greater depths than conventional bladder pumps.

    Features and Benefits

    • Integra Bladder Bumps can be used in non-vertical applications, allowing them to be deployed at any angle for monitoring underneath landfills and in tailings, storage tanks and containment plumes.
    • The Solinst Integra is rugged enough to be used to pump leachate, LNAPL and DNAPL product, strong solvents, containment liquids and other corrosive chemicals.
    • Solinst Bladder Pumps will not be damaged when deployed in silty, sediment-laden water or in dry pumping conditions.
    • The unit can be easily transported and deployed by one technician.
    • The Solinst Integra's ease of operation means less time is required for obtaining samples, keeping your costs low.

    Applications

Solinst Bladder Pumps lend themselves to a large number of potential applications. Our customers have deployed the unit for use in municipal and industrial water testing; the PVC model is particularly suited for metals analysis and situations where corrosive liquids are being sampled. Both 1.66 and 1.00 OD pumps are available, in two and four foot lengths.
