| Gas Check 5000-IS
"The Only Gas Leak Detector that Measures"
The GAS CHECK 5000-IS identifies the source of gas
leaks quickly and easily, and enables you to quantitatively measure
any leakage found. Hand held and cordless, the GAS CHECK is simply
traced around suspect flanges, valves, and joints - leaks are pin-pointed
with an audible alarm and a direct leak rate reading in a choice of
units. The instrument can be used with one hand and the special flexible
long probe provided allows easy access to difficult to reach areas.
The Gas Check 5000-IS is intrinsically safe and approved by BASEEFA.
Gas Check 5000-IS is particularly sensitive to hydrogen, helium and
high molecular weight gases, like carbon dioxide and R134a. Principally
calibrated for helium, the unit has multiple gas selection. The tactile
keypad gives the user total control. Fitted with a large backlit LCD,
the display shows unit setting and numerical readout, even in dark
confined spaces. When searching for leaks the unit can easily be set
into auto-range, giving the maximum sensitivity when required. Peak
hold control allows accurate reading of leak rate, which is useful
where external or traceable standards apply.
The GC5000-IS has many advanced features, such as data-logging with
time and date stamp record keeping, choice of units including ppm and
a user settable alarm level. No cables are required with the dated
download facilities as the connection is through an infrared port.
