With a 10 year battery life, the Rainlogger is ideal for long-term field use in storm water management, watershed monitoring, determining peak rainfall levels and correlating precipitation events with ground and surface water data as well as watershed, drainage basin, agricultural, forestry and other studies.

Easy to Setup and Integrate With Your Existing Solinst Systems
The Solinst Rainlogger Edge comes fully-equipped with everything you need to measure precipitation events in conjunction with a standard tipping-bucket rain gauge with reed switch output. Integration with other Solinst products is easy, too — the Rainlogger Edge adds accurate rainfall data to a network of Levelogger devices and can be used with a Solinst Telemetry System. Logged data can be downloaded directly to a PC, your smart device using the Solinst Levelogger App, or to a hand-held Leveloader. The Rainlogger Edge also has the capacity to communicate using the SDI-12 protocol.
Versatile Logging for a Variety of Applications
The Rainlogger Edge offers flexible logging options and reliable data storage, making it an ideal device for any application where accurate rainfall and precipitation data is required. The unit is compatible with almost any tipping bucket system and provides user-defined, linear sampling at rates from five minutes to 99 hours. Internal memory is non-volatile and provides storage for up to 60,000 sets of readings. All readings are backed up to an onboard FRAM system to help prevent accidental data loss.

The Solinst 3002 Rainlogger Edge is designed for environmental professionals who need a reliable performer in field conditions. Weighing less than 5 oz. and small enough to fit in narrow-diameter tubing and wells, the Rainlogger can be easily deployed in almost any situation. The unit's new ABS housing offers improved ESD (electrostatic discharge) protection, and is built for long-term use, and its internal sensors require no calibration or maintenance. A three-pin connector cable can be used for reliable field deployment. The unit's self-test capability gives you the confidence of knowing it’s working properly at all times.

The 3002 Rainlogger Edge offers a number of data downloading options including All Data™, Append Data™, Partial Data™, or Data Dump™. Readings collected from the Rainlogger can be displayed in chart or graph form using Solinst's proprietary Levelogger Software. Data can also be exported to other programs for further analysis.
