Changing the battery pack or filter is easy even when working in the field. A built-in lamp allows for accurate data collection even in low-light conditions, and the easy-to-read display puts important data right where you need it, instantaneously. The ppbRAE 3000 has been tested and approved for safe operation in temperatures ranging from -4° to 113°F.
Designed for Field Work
The ppbRAE 3000 was built with the needs of working technicians, environmental engineers and HazMat crews in mind. The 3000's simple interface is easy to operate when wearing gloves or other personal protection clothing, and the unit's lamp and sensor can be accessed without any special tools.
When contaminants exceed preset limits, the internal alarm triggers a 95 dB buzzer and flashing red LED light that can be seen and heard even in the most hectic conditions. When extended field work is impossible, the ppbRAE 3000's expandable wireless datalogging allows your team to collect information in real-time from a command center up to 3 miles away.
