Great for shallow wells, the Proactive Mini-Typhoon pump is capable of pumping up to 40 feet from ground level by simply connecting it to a 12 volt battery. Easy to use with minimal training, the Mini-Typhoon is great for deployment in remote applications where standard power supplies are not available. The reliable design is suitable for continuous sampling or purging of groundwater wells.

The Mini-Typhoon can be used with the optional low flow controller for low flow sampling. Low flow sampling is ideal for applications where minimizing drawdown, turbidity and purge volume is desired. By reducing well disturbance, samples are more consistent and can be collected at a lower cost. With the affordable purchase price of the Mini-Typhoon and low flow controller, it's possible to have a dedicated system for low-volume sampling that reduces the risk of contamination between wells.

The Mini-Typhoon comes ready to use with 50 feet of heavy duty 12 gauge wire, a cigarette lighter adapter and alligator battery connectors. Use the pump with either 3/8" ID or 1/2" ID poly tubing. When connected to a standard 12V power source, the battery life on the Mini-Typhoon is over 400 hours! Optional Low Flow Sampling Controller

The Mini-Typhoon has been designed to work with Proactive Industries' low flow controller to collect samples at rates as low as 40ml/min. The low-flow controller is powered by a single 12v battery for convenient deployment in remote locations. Its single-knob operation gives you precise, immediate control over water discharge. Other notable features include reverse polarity protection and constant voltage-boosting technology that ensures the motor is fully powered — even when the battery begins to run low. It also features a 20 amp safety fuse that offers an additional layer of protection to both the operator and the controller itself.

Housed in a weatherproof steel case, the controller comes with a standard six month warranty on all parts and labor. Best of all, with the exception of the Super Twister, it can be used with all products in the company's lineup of standard engineered plastic pumps. This makes it a versatile addition to your group of Proactive Industries equipment.
